Overseas enterprises have shown great enthusiasm for the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE), with contracted exhibition space already surpassing 300,000 square meters, according to the expo’s organizers on Tuesday.
Ge Hong, Deputy Director of the CIIE Bureau, announced that the 8th CIIE will be held in Shanghai from November 5 to 10, 2025.
Ge stated that trade delegations are being organized, professional visitor registration is now open, applications for supporting events are being accepted, and targeted investment promotion and matchmaking efforts are being intensified.
At a pre-expo matchmaking event on Tuesday, Xu Meizhen, Deputy General Manager of BWT China Trading Co., Ltd., said that the company has launched more than 20 new products at past CIIEs — including five Asian debuts — all of which received positive market feedback in China.
