Guinea-Bissau’s President Umaro Sissoco Embalo said his country firmly supports the Global Governance Initiative proposed by China and is ready to contribute to building a fairer and more equitable global governance system.
During his meeting with Chinese Ambassador to Guinea-Bissau Yang Renhuo on Wednesday, Embalo praised the achievements in bilateral relations and expressed willingness to deepen cooperation with China in various fields, enrich their strategic partnership, and jointly advance the establishment of a just global governance framework.
Ambassador Yang said the initiative aligns with the trend of history and reflects China’s sense of responsibility. He emphasized that China is ready to work with Guinea-Bissau and other Global South countries to promote the implementation of the initiative and to build a community with a shared future for humanity.
