Across China, people participated in colorful cultural activities on Monday, October 6, to celebrate the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival.

In Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province, children made mooncakes, while in Tengzhou, Shandong Province, they crafted pinwheel toys at a museum. The streets of Yandaixiejie and Nanluoguxiang in Beijing were packed with visitors eager to enjoy the festive atmosphere. In Jiangyin and Suzhou, families made lanterns together to introduce traditional handicrafts to their children. In Neijiang, Sichuan Province, children also created colorful lanterns with their families.
At Tianjin Normal University, Chinese and international students celebrated the festival together. In Shantou, Guangdong Province, performers and robots staged drum shows, while a dazzling drone light show in Harbin and moon-viewing events at camping sites in Shenzhen added a special touch to the night.
These celebrations across the country helped preserve traditional culture and allowed different generations to share the festive spirit of the Mid-Autumn Festival together.
