(Xinhua) — The historic district of Shexiang ancient town in Dafang County, southwest China’s Guizhou Province, staged a National Day special presentation of the Land Fingerprint Concert on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2026, drawing broad crowds of visitors. A second special performance is scheduled to take place on Oct. 5.
Functioning as a targeted resettlement location for poverty alleviation relocation, Shexiang ancient town has introduced a variety of public cultural events—including village bazaars, vocal showcases, and traditional torch festivals—to stimulate the local economy. Since the debut of the Land Fingerprint Concert series in August, the locality has recorded a substantial influx of tourists, delivering fresh momentum to economic activity across surrounding communities.
