Chinese Communist Party General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized that China’s determination to pursue high-level opening-up, share development opportunities with the world, and make economic globalization more open and inclusive will remain unchanged.
Under the guidance of Xi Jinping’s economic thought, China continues to contribute to global economic growth while following a development model based on mutual benefit. Since the beginning of reform and opening-up, China has accounted for around 30% of global economic growth and remains a strong advocate of the multilateral trading system.
During the pandemic, China maintained the stability of global supply chains and established the world’s most comprehensive production network in the new energy industry. Through the Belt and Road Initiative, it has cooperated with more than 150 countries, implementing numerous projects in infrastructure, education, and healthcare.
Xi highlighted that China’s vast market offers great opportunities to the world, stating, “To cooperate with China is to invest in the future.”
