Chinese Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang said that China is committed to continuously improving the quality and efficiency of investment cooperation with Russia, aiming to inject stronger momentum into the development and revitalization of both countries.
Ding, also a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, made the remarks during a meeting with Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov on June 20, on the sidelines of the 28th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
Under the strategic guidance of Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin, Ding noted that China-Russia investment cooperation has deepened and become more solid, producing many new results and bringing tangible benefits to both peoples.
He emphasized that China and Russia have unique strengths in industrial development, offering significant potential and broad opportunities for investment cooperation. Ding expressed China’s readiness to work with Russia to create a more stable, fair, and transparent business environment, promote corporate investment partnerships, and boost the vitality of local investment cooperation.
Manturov said that Russia is willing to work with China to make effective use of the Russia-China Investment Cooperation Committee, advance practical cooperation, and safeguard shared interests.
