The seventh China-Arab States Expo will, for the first time, host the Silk Road E-Commerce Innovation and Development Conference. The event will take place from August 27 to 29 in Yinchuan, the capital of northwest China’s Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.
Aiming to deepen cooperation in the digital economy and build a mutually beneficial global e-commerce market, the conference will feature live-streaming sessions promoting “Silk Road products,” with the participation of 15 foreign hosts from nine countries and more than 50 Chinese hosts. It will also include industrial matchmaking and visits to local industries.
Organized by the Ningxia Department of Commerce, the Yinchuan municipal government, and the China International Electronic Commerce Center, the event has attracted over 50 foreign guests from 14 countries, including Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia.
The broader expo will run from August 28 to 31 in Yinchuan.
