On May 24, 2025, the annual meeting of the High-Level Advisory Board of the United Nations Global Compact’s “Sustainable Infrastructure to Support the Belt and Road Initiative and Accelerate the Achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals” Action Platform was successfully held in Bandung, Indonesia. During the meeting, the importance of integrating sustainable development principles into corporate overseas operations was emphasized. The Board confirmed that the annual meeting will continue to serve as a platform for building consensus and promoting the core spirit of high-quality Belt and Road cooperation.
At the meeting, members from various countries reviewed the recent activities of the platform and exchanged insights on sustainability across different industries. New members were introduced, and a joint statement supporting high-quality Belt and Road cooperation and highlighting the positive contributions of companies to global sustainable development was adopted. The Board reaffirmed its commitment to building a sustainable future through multilateral cooperation in the coming years.
