In the first two months of the year, Hebei province focused heavily on trade with Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) countries, accounting for 57.2% of its total foreign trade volume. Notable increases were observed in trade with Latin America, Africa, and Arab countries.
High-value-added products stood out in exports, with rising demand for automobiles, steel, and textile products. Meanwhile, imports of key commodities such as crude oil, aluminum ore, and information technology equipment also saw significant growth. These trends highlight Hebei’s strengthened position in global markets and its increasing trade diversification.
