Sergey Taskaev, the Rector of Russia’s Chelyabinsk State University, recently expressed that China is a highly admired country among the Russian people. Taskaev stated that he would recommend his colleagues and friends visit China. Recalling his first visit to Beijing nearly 20 years ago, he noted that he has witnessed China’s rapid development and significant transformations since then, adding, “China’s vision for development is excellent.”
Taskaev highlighted the deepening cooperation in education and culture between China and Russia in recent years. He mentioned that many Russian students study in China, while Chinese students pursue education at Russian universities. He expressed confidence that such collaborations will grow even stronger in the future.
Furthermore, Taskaev highly commended the “Belt and Road” Initiative, stating that it not only advances science and education but also promotes cultural exchange and integration, creating additional opportunities for cooperation between the two countries.
