Tianjin has attracted a good number of significant projects on smart robotics, and is now home to more than 200 entities under the Tianjin Robot Industry Technology Alliance. Their products are targeting diverse scenarios such as automobiles, port operation, and machine-building.
The total industrial output of the city’s above-designated-size enterprises for smart robotics reached 6.849 billion yuan (about 1.02 billion U.S. dollars) in the first half of 2026, up 15.2 percent year on year.
