Salim Suwaidi, Secretary General of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), stated that under the framework of the “Ajman Vision 2030,” they are actively promoting their economic and investment policies to the Chinese market. Emphasizing Ajman’s openness to cooperation with China, Suwaidi said that they aim to attract high-quality investments particularly in key areas such as advanced technology, smart manufacturing, clean energy, future cities, and intelligent transportation systems. He noted that Ajman’s strategic location, combined with its well-developed ports and infrastructure, has made the UAE an influential economic actor within the Belt and Road Initiative.
Suwaidi highlighted the significant progress in recent years in relations between Ajman and China, noting that the Ajman China Mall has become one of the most popular business and retail destinations in the northern emirates. Following China’s technological and economic rise closely, Suwaidi emphasized that the relations between the two countries are built on mutual respect and shared interests. He expressed Ajman’s intention to deepen cooperation with Chinese partners in areas such as digital transformation, artificial intelligence, smart city solutions, e-commerce, and green industry. Suwaidi also noted that the ongoing visit would open up new opportunities in the fields of industry, technology, and investment.
