On Wednesday, April 16, China’s capital Beijing dispatched its first China-Europe freight train of the year 2025. The train, bound for Moscow, Russia, departed from a logistics center in Beijing.
It is expected to travel approximately 9,000 kilometers in 16 days, aiming to strengthen trade ties between China and Europe.
Aerial drone footage showed containers being loaded onto the train and preparations for its departure. This freight service is seen as a significant step in enhancing connectivity between China and Europe under the Belt and Road Initiative.
