Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun stated that China will closely track developments and take necessary measures to protect the legitimate interests of its domestic companies. Reaffirming that China-EU economic ties represent a mutually beneficial partnership rather than a zero-sum game, Guo stressed that trade frictions should be resolved through equal dialogue, adding that China’s automotive sector continues to offer cost-effective green solutions to global consumers.
