The 2nd “Belt and Road” Culture and Technology Integration Development Conference, held under the theme “Developing New Quality Productive Forces through Cultural and Technological Innovations,” was successfully organized at 798·751 Park. The conference aimed to explore effective mechanisms for the innovative integration of culture and technology, deepen the integration of China’s excellent cultural heritage with modern technology, create new pathways for developing new quality productive forces, and contribute to the higher-quality progress of the “Belt and Road Initiative.”
During the event, three academic sessions brought together many experts who delved into topics such as the integration and innovative development of art and technology, the role of digital and smart technologies in spreading Chinese culture abroad, how artificial intelligence supports the digitization and smart development of cultural relics, and the role of finance in the innovative integration of culture and technology.
Li Qian, the General Manager of Beijing Electronic Control and Vice President of the Party Committee, pointed out that the Silk Road spans thousands of kilometers spatially and over a thousand years in time. He emphasized that in this new stage of development, culture and technology are moving towards “integration development” at a higher level. Li Qian mentioned that by managing 798 (art district) and 751 (design and technology) in a dual direction under one management, they aim to transform this park into the most advanced center for cultural and technological innovation.
Looking ahead, he stressed the continued promotion of the mutual interaction of culture and technology and the creation of an integrated industrial development model. Beijing Electronic Control aims to serve as a platform for cultural-technology integration, fostering innovative and original projects. Through these initiatives, they aim to make a greater contribution to the development of the culture-technology industry in the Chaoyang district and to the construction of Beijing’s “Four Centers.”
