The “Belt and Road” International Talent Certification program was officially launched during a ceremony held in Chongqing on December 27. Established during the Chongqing International Talent Exchange Conference in November 2024, the Belt and Road International Talent Certification Center aims to foster skill development and exchange among countries participating in the initiative.
Zhang Da, an official from China’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, highlighted that the certification program marks a new era for international skill exchange and cooperation. He stated that this initiative will support technological advancement, skill training, and the internationalization of standards while creating new opportunities for Chongqing to collaborate on production capacity with Belt and Road countries.
At the ceremony, the first “Belt and Road” international talent certification service stations were authorized, several cooperation agreements were signed, and a talent evaluation service platform was introduced. This initiative is regarded as a significant step toward skill-focused international collaboration under the Belt and Road vision.
