The China (Shenzhen) Comprehensive Development Research Institute established the Belt and Road Research Center on December 27, marking the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative. The center aims to advance the institute’s work in this field. Chaired by Fan Gang, the center will bring together expert teams from areas such as finance, renewable energy, and Hong Kong-Macao relations to support the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative. Additionally, the center seeks to promote “coordinated industrialization” and “mutually beneficial industrialization” by advancing industrialization processes in collaboration with countries along the Belt and Road routes.
As part of the center’s launch, a symposium titled “The New Decade of the Belt and Road: Opportunities and Reflections” was held. In his address, Fan Gang emphasized the significance of the Belt and Road Initiative in China’s strategy to promote globalization. Experts highlighted the substantial opportunities the initiative’s next decade offers in industry, trade, and international cooperation. Strategic solutions to address the challenges faced by Chinese companies in their global expansion efforts were also discussed. This development is expected to inject new momentum into Belt and Road initiatives.
