China was the largest supplier of passenger cars to Uzbekistan in the first quarter of 2025, according to a report released on Tuesday by the country’s National Statistics Committee.
“In the period from January to March 2025, Uzbekistan imported a total of 6,950 passenger cars worth 115.1 million U.S. dollars,” the report stated.
Among Uzbekistan’s trade partners, China ranked first with 5,235 vehicles delivered. South Korea followed with 1,425 units, while India came third with 144 units.
In 2024, Uzbekistan imported a total of 74,700 passenger cars, around 61,000 of which were supplied by China.
