National grain output remained above the 700-million-tonne benchmark for the second consecutive year, powered by a record summer grain harvest of 150.75 million tonnes that provided a resilient start to the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026–2030). With per capita grain availability exceeding 500 kilograms—well above the international benchmark—and rural incomes steadily rising, nationwide events centered in Xiangyang spotlighted modern agritech integration and rural revitalization.
