China has recently made significant progress in connectivity with neighboring countries. New routes for the Central Asia trains have been launched, the Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan-Tajikistan railway has begun operations, and the number of trains on the Western Land-Sea New Corridor has surpassed 10,000 annually. China has signed “Belt and Road” cooperation agreements with 25 neighboring countries and is the largest trading partner of 18 of these countries.
Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mao Ning stated on March 21 that China has become a key hub for stability, economic development, and regional security in Asia. Mao emphasized, “China’s prosperity is closely tied to Asia, and Asia’s development is also closely linked to China. We will continue to follow the principle of friendly, sincere, and mutually beneficial diplomacy with our neighbors and share opportunities for joint development based on the direction of a shared destiny.”
