China’s National Development and Reform Commission Director Zheng Shanjie and Brunei officials signed two cooperation documents to renew the cooperation plan under the Belt and Road Initiative and to strengthen experience sharing and collaboration in the field of economic development.
The parties renewed the cooperation plan between the Government of China and the Government of Brunei Darussalam on jointly building the Belt and Road, aiming to coordinate practical cooperation in various sectors under this initiative.
In addition, a Memorandum of Understanding on experience sharing in economic development was signed between China’s National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs of Brunei Darussalam. This document envisions cooperation in areas such as macroeconomics, industrial development, infrastructure construction, and green sustainable development.
