On the morning of April 19, at 6:51 a.m. local time, China successfully launched six new Shiyan-27 test satellites into space from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in Shanxi Province, northern China. The satellites were carried into orbit by a modified version of the Long March-6 carrier rocket and smoothly entered their designated orbits.
The main tasks of the Shiyan-27 satellites include space environment exploration and conducting related technology tests. This launch marks the 570th mission in China’s Long March carrier rocket series.
