    China’s Civil Aviation Sector Achieves Steady Growth in 2025

    BEIJING, Jan. 6 (Xinhua) — China’s civil aviation sector showed steady development in 2025, with solid growth recorded in all key indicators.


    According to data released at the national civil aviation work conference held on Tuesday by the Civil Aviation Administration of China, the sector achieved a total transport turnover of 164.08 billion ton-kilometers in 2025, a 10.5% increase over the previous year.


    Passenger traffic increased by 5.5 percent compared to the previous year to 770 million, while cargo and mail volume rose by 13.3 percent to 10.17 million tons.
