KUALA LUMPUR, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) — The China–Malaysia Spring Festival Gala was held in Putrajaya, Malaysia’s administrative capital, highlighting the significance of the strong friendship between the two countries.
The event, held on Friday, brought together representatives from government agencies, cultural institutions, friendship associations, and chambers of commerce from both nations.
In her remarks, Zheng Xuefang, chargé d’affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia, stated that China and Malaysia, as friendly neighboring countries, are jointly working to build a high-level, strategic China–Malaysia community with a shared future.
Mohd Yusri, Deputy Secretary-General of Malaysia’s Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, noted that the joint performances by Malaysian and Chinese artists have created new opportunities for multicultural and artistic cooperation.
The gala featured a range of captivating performances, including the “24 Festive Drums,” acrobatics, and traditional folk songs.
