According to a statement from the Hezhou Customs Office in Guangxi, the total foreign trade volume of Hezhou City reached 2.65 billion yuan in the first 11 months of this year. This year, the Hezhou Customs Office launched a program called “Customs Like Mine,” establishing a dedicated task force and creating customs clearance guidelines for key products. These efforts aimed to guide enterprises in export and import operations, supporting companies in accessing markets of Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) member states and countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.
In the January-November period, Hezhou’s total trade volume with RCEP member states accounted for 42.6% of the city’s total foreign trade, growing by 31.9%. During the same period, trade volume with Belt and Road countries reached 1.67 billion yuan, a 23.3% increase. Additionally, intermediate goods trade constituted a significant portion of Hezhou’s foreign trade. In the January-November period, the import and export of products such as rare earth elements, oats, and connection cables totaled 1.39 billion yuan, marking a 4% increase.
