With the departure of a 60-car China–Europe freight train loaded with household appliances and digital products from the Manzhouli railway port in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the number of services operated this year along the “Eastern Corridor” reached 5,166.
Located in northern China, the “Eastern Corridor” consists of three major railway ports—Manzhouli, Suifenhe, and Tongjiang. More than 1,000 categories of goods are currently transported through this corridor. The number of operational routes has expanded to 27, linking over 60 Chinese cities with 14 European countries.
