Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Culture and the China-Arab Research Center for Cultural and Tourism Cooperation signed an executive program on Sunday aimed at strengthening cultural collaboration between the two nations.
Under the agreement, both sides will launch joint research projects and compile cultural materials about each other using resources from their respective national archives, providing academic support for historical research and cultural exchange.
The program also includes organizing joint conferences and promoting mutual visits and exchanges between cultural researchers from Saudi Arabia and China.
According to the Saudi Ministry of Culture, the agreement aims to enhance joint efforts in cultural preservation and academic study, while deepening intercultural and intellectual ties between the two countries.
The deal was signed by Maha Abdullah Alsenan, Saudi Deputy Minister for Research and Cultural Heritage Affairs, and Cheng Wei, Vice President of Beijing International Studies University and Deputy Director of the China-Arab Research Center’s joint committee.
