Xingang Maritime Bureau has implemented a series of measures to ensure the safety of waterway traffic during the national parliamentary sessions. To support the secure transportation of key infrastructure materials for the well completion project led by Indonesia’s state-owned oil company, Pertamina (PHR), the bureau has strengthened its on-duty inspection teams, enhanced early warning mechanisms for adverse weather conditions, and imposed strict supervision over the loading of large-scale equipment. Additionally, collaboration among various stakeholders involved in the project has been intensified, significantly improving the efficiency of maritime services.
The Indonesia PHR well completion project aims to restore old wells to production and enhance their efficiency. A total of 600 tons of equipment is being exported via the Yangtze Prestige cargo ship and is expected to reach its destination port in Indonesia by March 15. To ensure a smooth process, Xingang Maritime Bureau has developed emergency response plans, accelerated inspection procedures, and worked in coordination with maritime authorities to minimize risks. Bureau officials emphasized their commitment to implementing early intervention, assessment, and coordination strategies for key projects along the Belt and Road route, ensuring a safe and efficient export process.
