As China’s largest port under the Belt and Road Initiative, Ningbo-Zhoushan Port stands out as one of the key centers of global trade. During an event held on December 23, 2024, a media delegation visited the port to observe logistics operations on-site. In the Chuanshan Port Area, cranes and container vehicles were operating at full speed, while ships with completed loading and unloading operations and trains with railway connections continued to transport goods worldwide.
Ningbo-Zhoushan Port is located at the intersection of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road. The port connects over 600 ports in more than 200 countries and regions via 305 international routes. This massive logistics hub strengthens cooperation between China and countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative. As the port becomes increasingly equipped with advanced technologies, it continues to be one of the most critical points in international trade, steadily advancing towards a future focused on mutual benefit and development.
