As global momentum for green development grows, cross-border youth collaboration is becoming increasingly important. China and Africa are working together to cultivate a new generation of green leaders. The 5th China-Africa Future Leaders Dialogue on Green Development held in Zhejiang Province reflected this shared commitment by bringing together young voices dedicated to environmental progress and sustainable cooperation.
At the symposium, voices like Ntsoaki Agnes Matela from the Embassy of Lesotho emphasized that youth empowerment, institutional capacity building, and ongoing innovation are critical for the future of China-Africa green cooperation. Chinese environmental engineer Qu Ping detailed Jinhua city’s green transformation as not only an environmental milestone but also a model of technological and social innovation. Young participants expressed plans to collaborate on projects in ecological agriculture, renewable energy, and sustainable building materials, demonstrating their commitment to turning green ideas into practical actions.
