Engineered to support trillion-parameter models with roughly three times the performance of its predecessor, the chip is scheduled for commercial mass production in the first quarter of 2027. Amid persistent foreign export curbs on advanced semiconductors, the proprietary architecture delivers enhanced compute density and cost efficiency across low-precision operations, accelerating China’s broader push toward independent and scalable AI hardware alternatives.
