The 23rd China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) opened in Nanning, convening more than 3,400 enterprises from over 70 countries and regions with a strong emphasis on emerging opportunities under the upgraded CAFTA 3.0 framework. Marking the historic first gathering of all 11 ASEAN member states following Timor-Leste’s accession as a full member and co-host, the event showcases high-tech sectors including AI, digital communications, and green development. Against the backdrop of bilateral trade surpassing $1 trillion in 2025 and surging 24.7% in the first seven months of 2026, the expo features extensive business matchmaking and investment forums to foster deeper regional integration and cross-border supply chain resilience.
