A significant step in aviation education was taken at Xinjiang Normal University’s Kunlun Campus. The Aviation Application Center, established in collaboration with Beijing Guanghui Jintong Education Group and the university’s Department of Aviation Service Arts and Management, was officially opened with a ceremony. This center is seen as a crucial step toward developing Xinjiang’s aviation industry and providing qualified aviation personnel for the region.
Xinjiang Normal University has begun offering aviation training in alignment with the “Belt and Road” initiative, contributing to the region’s educational policies. The center is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to provide students with practical skills in flight services and safety training. Initially, 146 students have been enrolled in the program, which aims to meet the region’s need for qualified aviation service professionals.
The center will also contribute to the development of Urumqi International Airport and aims to train 200 high-quality aviation professionals annually. This initiative supports Xinjiang’s strategy of “development through education” and strengthens the region’s aviation industry.
