A new book introducing Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization has been published by the Higher Education Press and the People’s Publishing House. Compiled under the guidance of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee and the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the book comprises an introduction and nine chapters, totaling roughly 170,000 Chinese characters.
Since the 18th National Congress of the CPC in 2012, the CPC Central Committee has approached ecological conservation from the perspective of ensuring the Chinese nation’s sustainable development. By advancing theoretical, practical, and institutional innovations, the leadership has driven historic and transformative changes in China’s ecological conservation, giving rise to Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization. The newly published book systematically elaborates on the significance, theoretical framework, core essence, and practical requirements of this guiding thought.
