Officials from various Central Asian countries have noted that China’s exploration of its national development path and its approach to modernization provide valuable guidance for the countries of Central Asia. In particular, the former Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan pointed out that China has managed to achieve sustainable and comprehensive development by leveraging its own resources. He added that Chinese-style modernization could help Central Asian countries make progress in sectors such as industry, logistics, and energy. Furthermore, China’s ability to integrate its unique culture with global trends in its modernization process offers a highly valuable experience for Central Asian nations.
A researcher from Kazakhstan’s Institute for World Economy and Politics emphasized that China has not simply copied models from other countries but has instead actively explored its own development path and adapted policies in response to new changes. This approach provides Central Asian countries with development opportunities, particularly in fostering economic growth. China’s support for economic globalization and its win-win cooperation approach, exemplified by the Belt and Road Initiative, has also been widely praised in Central Asia. These projects have not only created new employment opportunities but also contributed to local development through sustainable energy projects.
