China’s Ministry of Transport has stated that for 2025, priority should be given to developing standards in the fields of artificial intelligence and low-altitude transportation under the framework of land and air cooperation. During a meeting held on Friday, the ministry announced that necessary measures will be implemented under the national service standards pilot program to make the country’s transportation sector smarter and more digital.
In recent years, China has taken significant steps in low-altitude transportation and logistics, where drones have played a critical role in short-distance, regional, and urban deliveries. According to a report by the China Digital Industry Institute, the market for low-altitude logistics is growing rapidly. Ministry officials emphasized that these developments will contribute significantly to modernizing the country’s transportation sector and establishing a more efficient transportation network.
