Myanmar will take part in the 22nd China-ASEAN Expo, to be held in Nanning, the capital of South China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, from September 17 to 21, with around 80 booths.
According to the report, Myanmar will participate as the “Country of Honor” and explore market access opportunities for its agro-based SMEs in the Chinese market. It was also noted that Myanmar’s high-quality gemstones will be showcased at the expo.
The expo is highlighted as a platform to promote regional cooperation initiatives such as the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) and the ASEAN-China Free Trade Agreement 3.0.
Additionally, it is stated that the event helps strengthen ties among participating countries and brings mutual trade benefits.
