    Malaysian Minister Welcomes Stronger Youth and Sports Cooperation with China

    Malaysian Minister of Youth and Sports Hannah Yeoh Tseow Suan said on Sunday that Malaysia welcomes stronger cooperation with China in the fields of youth and sports, and looks forward to further enhancing bilateral relations by deepening people-to-people exchanges.

    Speaking at a Malaysia-China friendship run held in the state of Sabah, Yeoh highlighted China’s long-standing strength in sports, noting that Malaysia has gained valuable insights from bilateral exchanges and training collaborations with China.

    “China is always known as one of the key sports leaders in Asia, even at the Olympic level,” she said.

    The friendship run in Sabah, organized by the Malaysia-China Friendship Association Sabah, attracted over 5,000 participants, including youths from both countries, local families, and employees of Chinese enterprises operating in Malaysia.
