The emergency humanitarian aid shipment provided by the Chinese government has arrived at Cambodia’s Techo International Airport.
Chinese Ambassador to Phnom Penh Wang Wenbin and Cambodian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ung Rachana received the aid materials at the airport.
Ambassador Wang Wenbin noted that the first shipment contained 20 million yuan worth of aid materials and that this was a sign of the deep friendship between the two countries.
Wang said China welcomed the ceasefire between Cambodia and Thailand and would continue to play a positive and constructive role in assisting this process.
Ung Rachana expressed his sincere gratitude to China on behalf of the Cambodian government and people.
Ung Rachana emphasized that Cambodia attaches great importance to its strong friendship with China and praised China’s active and constructive role in achieving the ceasefire.
