The State Administration for Market Regulation of China, in cooperation with relevant departments, has recently comprehensively summarized the achievements in standardization within the framework of the “Belt and Road” Initiative over the past 10 years. These achievements cover areas such as the deepening of “soft connectivity,” the further development of “hard connectivity,” and the continuous advancement of “heart-to-heart connectivity.” As part of this process, the “Belt and Road” 10th Anniversary Standardization Achievements Report has been compiled.
The report details the results of standardization efforts over the past decade of the “Belt and Road” Initiative in five dimensions: policy communication, infrastructure connectivity, trade facilitation, financial connectivity, and people-to-people ties. This report provides a reference for the future, emphasizing the foundational role of standards and promoting the high-quality development of the “Belt and Road” Initiative.
